TraiPay

Pay with TRAI. Paid for good.

TRAI is made to be spent: at the counter, online and between friends. A payment is final within seconds, its fee does not grow with the price, and it stays private when you want it to.

Faster than a blink

Tenrai makes a new block every 20 ms on mainnet, every 10 ms in bursts. Your payment travels to the network in a few milliseconds nearby and in a fraction of a second from the other side of the world, and the next block picks it up. Ten payments one after another are in after 0.2 seconds, and up to ten sent at the same moment share a single block.

When is a payment really done?

At the counter, a card payment looks instant. The shop gets its money days later, and the payment can still be disputed for months. Most blockchains are no better: a payment only grows safer with every confirmation, and becomes final after 12 to 24 hours or never. A TRAI payment is final within seconds: the money is in the shop's wallet, and it stays there.

In research: final in under 800 ms

We are researching fast paths that would make a payment final worldwide in under 800 milliseconds. Plans for their integration already exist and hold up in theory. They are not part of mainnet yet.

Made for shops

Everything a shop needs to take TRAI, at the counter and online.

No chargebacks

A final payment cannot be pulled back weeks later. What you were paid stays yours, and refunds remain your own decision.

How finality works

The same fee for any price

The fee follows the size of a payment, not its amount. A simple payment costs from about 0.00004 TRAI, whether it pays for a coffee or a car, and nobody takes a share of the sale.

Economics

QR code or contactless

A payment request carries the amount and the invoice number in one plain link. Show it as a QR code, and the customer's wallet fills everything in. The same link fits NFC, so a tap with a phone, or a card holding a TRAI wallet, could pay contactless at the terminal.

Payment requests

Orders marked paid by themselves

Each payment carries your order number. The wallet daemon reports every incoming payment the moment it arrives, so your shop marks the order paid on its own, and signed statements keep your books in order.

Accept payments

Customers pay privately

Customers pay without handing over a name, a card number or a bank account: the chain shows addresses, not people, and you keep no card data to protect. With TSP-2 stealth payments, even the amount and the recipient's address stay off the chain.

ZK Stealth

Ready for the rush

Tenrai's mainnet is built for 500 payments a second, with bursts up to 1,000, so a busy checkout never waits for the network.

Made for people

Pay a friend, a shop or a service anywhere in the world, from the device in your pocket.

Fully non-custodial

All you need is a wallet on your phone or computer. Your coins are held by your own keys, not by a bank, an exchange or us: nobody but you can freeze or move them.

All wallets

No data to steal

No company keeps your name, your balance or a card on file. There is no customer database that could leak in a breach.

Open to everyone

No sign-up, no account and no approval: anyone can create a wallet in minutes and start paying.

Money without borders

Send TRAI to anyone, anywhere, at any hour: no bank opening times, no borders and no fee on the amount.

A note with every payment

Add a note to a payment, such as what it is for, or chat end-to-end encrypted with the person you pay in Trai Messenger.

Trai Messenger

Safe for decades

Every signature is post-quantum, so the money you keep today stays safe when quantum computers arrive.

Quantum security

Made for the world

Tenrai belongs to no company and no country. Anyone can run a node, mine or stake, from anywhere. Nodes pass blocks and payments to each other directly, so there is no single place that could switch the network off.

Node Miner Validator
An illustration: nodes, miners and validators all over the world pass blocks and payments to each other directly, over connections encrypted with post-quantum TLS. None of them is in charge.

Run a node at home

A node runs on Linux, macOS or Windows, on a computer with a few cores and an SSD. It checks every block and every cut itself and trusts nobody.

Run a node

Mine from anywhere

Blocks come from miners everywhere, on graphics cards and CPUs, without asking anyone. Half of all new TRAI goes to them.

Final by many

Up to 256 validators can register, and the 64 with the most stake sign every cut. Stakers anywhere decide who that is.
